A beautiful Applied Zoopharmacognosy & Reiki session with @hollyhedgesanctuary foster dog Mya at her home this week.

Life is difficult for Indy at the moment 😿
Our poor boy has ripped his leg open in a freak accident & has been grounded inside the house for the next 10 days while the wound heals 🙌

I’m in full on healing mode, reiki, applied Zoopharmacognosy & the good old valerian pot has kept him calm & comfortable so far 🙌

But, we’ve been out for a few hours today & he was quite distressed on our return, pacing the house, trying to open catches on doors so that he could escape to his beloved outdoors & howling. The truth is, he is always outside, his surroundings are his territory & fresh air is what he loves the most.

So plan B has been put in action & we have managed to set him up in the old bunny nest & have sat him in his beloved garden for some familiarity & fresh air.

Holistically both angles are equally important in the healing process & indeed our own sanity!

He’s now a happier boy, peace restored! 😺

The magic of the Valerian Herb Pot 🌿

Poor Indy had an emergency visit to the vets this morning after he seemed out of sorts.
He absolutely hates the journey, but loves the relaxing properties of the herb pot, so off we went with it on board.

A temperature of 42 degrees meant medication poor love, maybe a bite from a cat fight 🙌

All good with the journey & when we got home he returned to the cat basket & has relaxed with his herb pot all day! 🙌

It may seem like a little thing to do for him, but relaxing your animal before seeing the vet can make for a stress free visit & it can also aid recovery by keeping your animal relaxed & stress free, the vets definitely appreciate it too💜

3 years ago he was injured in an awful RTA, which saw him suffer a broken pelvis and a leg broken in 3 places, which is now pinned & plated. He has a quirky sitting position now as a lasting reminder❤️‍🩹

When I get my Zoopharma kit out at home, he will be the one who will often sit with me & self select what he needs🙌

Of course, even though he has healed he will still have mild residual inflammation & joint pain and Applied Zoopharmacognosy can naturally help relieve that pain.

If you look closely you can see the subtle licks he makes, which is taking the Vapor from the essential oil to the part of the brain for inflammation & pain. Then followed by a stillness as the brain & body process it.

All very clever & something that all animals can innately do as part of their evolutionary make up…this method fascinates me every day 🌿🙌🐾

It’s unusual for me to catch the process on film too, so thank you lovely Indy!😻

🙌Indy’s healing journey🙌

In 2019 at just 14 months old Indy was involved in an awful RTA on the country lane outside our home.

Luckily he was found in a neighbours garage, semi conscious & hanging onto life 😢

I held him in my arms all the way to the vets, whilst administering Reiki healing🙌

The damage was extensive, a fractured pelvis & leg broken in 3 places, which needed a plate.

Whilst in recovery I worked with him every day, with Reiki & with Applied Zoopharmacognosy as needed.

His recovery was nothing short of miraculous, no physiotherapy needed & back to the vibrant young cat he had been within 5 months 😻

I am a huge advocate of conventional medicine alongside natural healing…there should always be room for both to exist in an animals healing journey ❤️‍🩹

Luckily he was found in a neighbours garage, semi conscious & hanging onto life 😢

I held him in my arms all the way to the vets, whilst administering Reiki healing🙌

The damage was extensive, a fractured pelvis & leg broken in 3 places, which needed a plate.

Whilst in recovery I worked with him every day, with Reiki & with Applied Zoopharmacognosy as needed.

His recovery was nothing short of miraculous, no physiotherapy needed & back to the vibrant young cat he had been within 5 months 😻

I am a huge advocate of conventional medicine alongside natural healing…there should always be room for both to exist in an animals healing journey ❤️‍🩹
